Plumbing Awards & Honors

The Delta Faucet Plumbing Contractor of the Year Award is presented annually to a PHCC-NA plumbing contractor who exhibits excellence in his trade. The award is presented based on a number of different criteria including professionalism, innovative sales and management techniques, industry involvement as well as a commitment to the community.

Bill J. Cocos of the William G. Cocos Company, Inc., a Plumbing Industry Council member was awarded the 2008 Delta Faucet Plumbing Contractor of the Year during the 2008 PHCC-NA Convention and Trade Show held in Atlanta, Ga.

“We are excited to recognize this talented individual who has excelled within the plumbing, heating and cooling industries,” said Jon Dartt, vice president of trade and international sales r Delta Faucet Company.

Prior to his employment in the family business Mr. Cocos served for five years in the United States Navy (1971-1976) and was a member of the United States Naval Reserve from 1976-1991. In addition to his responsibilities at William G. Cocos, Company, Inc., Mr. Cocos has been an active member of various civic, professional and church organizations and activities. Mr. Cocos also serves as a Director for Midwest Bank Centre with headquarters located in Lemay, MO.

Mr. Cocos’s professional involvement in the industry includes twenty years of service in many facets of the local and state plumbing associations including the Plumbing Industry Council (President), Plumbing Contractors Association, the Missouri Association of Plumbing, Heating, Cooling Contractors, the Plumbing, Heating, Cooling Contractors Association and Plumbers’ and Pipefitters’ Joint Apprentice and Training Committee.
